About the Sheldon Lions:
The Sheldon Lions first meeting was on 10 September 1975 held at the Swan Hotel, Yardley, a few weeks later on 24 September the Charter Badges were presented to the members and they received the actual Charter on 28 October 1975. We hold our annual Charter each year in February. The first Sheldon Lions Charter President was Brian Williams and the
Sponsoring Club was Solihull with the District Governor at the time being
Alan Silverwood. We are an official UK registered charity organisation (reg.no 1056990).
